Introduction

Welcome to the Westchester Playa Del Rey Cotillion.

We are presenting Ballroom Dancing and Etiquette for Children in grades 6 through 8. Students will have an opportunity to mature socially with their peers while learning the latest dances and social etiquette in a series of fun, fast-paced, informational sessions with different themes each month.

Our teachers Ken and Teresa Shiry have been instructing Cotillion classes in the Los Angeles area for over 20 years. Ken is a musically gifted group leader who relates easily to children of all ages. Teresa is a National Ballroom Dance Champion whose gentle approach inspires confidence.

We offer a 6th grade class and a combined 7th and 8th grade class. Each class will be evenly balanced with boys and girls. There are six monthly classes, including one condensed Table Manners class, and a Gala Presentation dance to end the season.

All classes will be held at the Westchester Elk's Lodge, 8025 W. Manchester Blvd, Playa Del Rey, CA 90293. Tuition for the complete season is $225.00
